Grand Canyon - In Progress

I am working on a prismacolor pencil drawing of a view of the Grand
Canyon from the North Rim. The shape of the drawing is unusual for me;
I am making
it in a shape which emphasizes the horizon. I have avoided trying to
capture the canyon in artwork up to this point. But I felt it was
calling me
do my interpretation of the beauty of one of the many aspects of light
on the rocks there.
